The Minneapolis Neighborhood and Community Relations (NCR) department is designed to serve as a liaison for residents, neighborhood and community organizations and provide guidance to other City departments in the realm of strong neighborhood and community relations. The department will focus on strengthening Minneapolis’ quality of life through vigorous community participation, resident involvement in neighborhood and community organizations, and supporting clearly defined links between the City, City services and neighborhood and community organizations. The NCR Assistant City Coordinator will lead this new department and will function as a champion to support and facilitate community engagement. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in a related field with a minimum of ten years of job-related experience. Strong community engagement skills and a proven track record in building strong community relations are essential.
